Ashley Hagen

Ashley Hagen

She started practicing yoga in 2010 to improve her performance as a college athlete. After experiencing the benefits of a daily yoga practice, she received her yoga teacher certification and began teaching vinyasa yoga, the most accessible style of power yoga. Martial arts, calisthenics, running, weight lifting and dance are all movements she is inspired by. Her classes and workshops are challenging and fun. She leads 200 hour yoga teacher trainings and owns and manages a yoga studio.

You can read my official bio, but there is more to that story.

I’m named Ashly! I am a yoga teacher, yoga teacher trainer, yoga teacher business coach, and I own and manage a yoga studio.

I help new yoga teachers plan a self-sequenced yoga class within a couple hours so that they can teach their first class with confidence.

Here is the truth. It wasn’t easy to teach yoga when I first started. I know, it’s shocking. You could be there as well. The framework to get started is what I created this course for.

Nowadays, I like to transform yoga students into yoga teachers through in-person yoga teacher trainings and I like to build community at my yoga studio.

It hasn’t always been that way. I had a hard time planning out my yoga classes. It became a chore to create unique sequence for every class. I didn’t know what to say with my plan, so I stuck to my sheet of paper. I was not very good at stringing words together. It wasn’t natural for me to teach.

As a new teacher, I did a lot of pose demonstrations. I practiced along in 15 classes per week. I had no idea how to teach from my mat.

I tried to copy the sequence and cue from yogaglo videos. I didn’t know how to change the sequence for specific people. This also felt fake.

I winged it and showed up with no hope for the best. This was very difficult and didn’t work.

I created my own formula for yoga class sequence with my love of math. And it worked!

This is the framework for yoga class planning. The flow is focused. course. I made this for you, a new yoga teacher.

I want to give new yoga teachers confidence and authenticity in their classes.

The. The flow is focused. There are 3 parts to workshop training.

1. Find your focus.

3 key areas of focus are what you will need as a yoga teacher. You will discover more about yourself and your students when I ask you questions.

2. There are four parts to the yoga class.

We need to know how a simple yoga class is set-up before we get too deep into yoga. The foundation on how to offer a safe and effective yoga class was set in this portion of the training.

3. Decide on your style.

This is where our fun begins. PDF templates for each of the 7 different styles are included. Pick a flow option that works for you.

BONUSES:
