The first level contains an introduction to the Complete Ving Tsun System. The foundation for future skills is provided by it.

You will be introduced to the following in level 1. The centerline and basic hand movements are learned in the first 5 parts. The fundamental stance, techniques and blocks of the system. How to punch correctly and deliver multiple strikes.

The time is 4 hours and 21 minutes.

Level 2:

The Short Range Power Development and Sensitivity Program starts at level 2.

You will learn the following in level 2. The siu lim tau form is part 6. The one leg stance develops great balance and waist control. How to shift forces. Aggressive long step. There are front and side kicks. Bong and Laap Da Drill will teach redirecting force with redirection. Start developing your sensitivity with the single hand sticking hands curriculum.

The time is 3 hours 9 minutes.

Level 3:

The Short Range Power Development and Sensitivity Program continues to improve the skills from level 3.

The program to learn the centerline will teach you how to throw energy in all directions so you can hit an opponent even if you aren’t facing him.

In the knockout power program you will continue to develop stone hard fists and practice to deliver that power into an opponent or boards.

The basic three blocks will be used in the Sensitivity and Technical Reaction program.

The long range closing program will teach you how to use your hands when attacking your opponent.

You will learn the following in level 3. Part 7 of the siu lim tau form is here. Running and catching with double sticking hands. The sticking hands programs have core attacks and defenses. The first set of unstoppable attacks.

The time is 5 hours 13 minutes.

Level 4:

The balance, waist and root development program is one of the programs that Level 4 continues to improve.

The second form, Cham Kiu, in level 4 will allow you to improve your rotating with power. Being stable is important when moving the centerline.

The remaining core ving tsun techniques will be applied in the sensitivity and Technical Reaction program.

The long range distance closing program will teach you how to handle situations where the opponent starts to counter your attack.

You will be introduced to the balance, waist and root development program in level 4. You will learn to stay balanced and root so your strikes and blocks are more effective and the change you fall down approaches zero in this program.

You will learn the following in level 4. There are two parts to the cham kiu form. The pushing horse program is used to train stability.

The time is 3 hours 19 minutes.

Level 5:

The 3rd part of the cham kiu form is how to move the centerline. You will be introduced to changing your weight quickly. If someone attacks your front leg, you should do this. This skill will be used in Seeping & Takedown Mitigation.

Strong rooting and mobility will cause your opponent to fail if he tries to make you fall to the ground, because you will learn sticking, trapping and leg sensitivity in this program.

In level 5 of the Mid Range Distance Closing and Fight Preparedness program, you are introduced to the situation where you have long distance contact with your opponent. As you get closer to your enemy, you will get more information about them that will help you in the Sensitivity and Technical Reaction program.

The introduction to the plum flower posts program will begin in level 5.

It takes 1 hours 45 minutes to run.

Level 6:

You will be introduced to shifting direction while maintaining an empty leg as you continue to learn to move the centerline. The pole play requires this skill in order to react to an unexpected shove.

The Grappling, Trapping and Joint Lock Mitigation program will teach you how to prevent your opponent from trapping you. You will be able to develop strong anti jointlock skills. The knockout power, strong horse, and leg sensitivity will be integrated to give you strong skills to prevent grappling.

As you start to integrate skills from other programs for self-defense, the Mid Range Distance and Fight Preparedness program will start to introduce less cooperative partners.

The 3 Second Fight Training Program will start in Level 6. There are no weight classes, padded mats, unfair play, pre-selected opponents, rare one on one fights, no protective gear, and no referees in this final program. Anything can happen.

After a bridge with your opponent has been established, the Integration and Attitude training is the first program for training fights skills. Any attack or block is allowed. The focus and attitude needed for real fighting can be developed here.

The time is 2 hours and 1 minute.

Level 7:

The Recover The Centerline program will begin to develop the skills needed for an emergency situation when you have been hit. There may be situations that occur as you work through the Grappling, Trapping and Joint Lock Mitigation, Sweeping and Takedown and Kicking Mitigation programs. Your opponents will be more skilled and aggressive. The need for strong fundamentals like simultaneous block and attack, one strike knockout, and a stance like a mountain becomes essential to survival.

In the Mid Range Distance Closing and Fight Preparedness training, your skills at entering into your opponent’s boundaries will be improved. The skills from the other programs are integrated into the Three-Second Fight Training program. We allow more aggressive play to prepare you for the street. Soft skills of avoidance and flow are high, as is power control, so although it is furious activity, injuries are very rare.

The time is 3 hours and 14 minutes.

Level 8:

Fighters are formed here. Strong key skills from all the programs are integrated. Any attack with no protective gear.

The wooden man is used in this level to refine our power and positioning. The wooden man will allow you to show your opponent they are outmatched without actually having to knock them out. We will start the pole play in level 8 with drills from the famous Luk Dim Boon Quan, which is the six and a half point long pole.

The time is 2 hours 19 minutes.

Level 9:

The programs are integrated into the Three-Second Fight Training program. We will prepare to open our own schools when we graduate from level 9 by going back to previous programs.

The final form of the system with the 8-directional cutting swords will be learned at this level. We will practice to improve our teaching skills so that we can pass on this traditional skill.

The time is 2 hours 44 minutes.

My course is the same one I teach in my kung fu schools. I have been training martial arts for over 40 years.

The entire ving tsun system was codified using my professional background in course development and teaching methodologies. I will guide you through the system so that you can practice your kung fu at your own pace.

The Course

Over 36 hours of video lessons. The workshops making up the new material are sold separately from the rest of the set. You can see what is being taught in the multi-angle video. You can clearly hear what is being taught. The course curriculum is designed to give you what you need when you need it. Smart objectives, onscreen tips, flyins, reminders, quotes, idioms and maxims, homework, drills, and more are included in professionally produced lessons plans. I am an engaging and funny professional instructor.

The most important lessons are not spoon fed in this course. The lessons learned through personal experience are the most valuable, so I leave room for you to engage your own sense of wonderment. I do not want you to miss out on learning how to learn. I want the balance between giving you too much and not enough. I want to give you everything you need to grow a flower.

My program is not made up of a bunch of information to be collected, nor is it just entertainment or just techniques to beat up an opponent, it is a strategically designed experience to help you learn and improve valuable and long- lasting skills.

I would like to thank you for considering my course. I can’t wait to be a part of your journey.
