Description

The course is about.

Both therapies are very important in our lives. It is possible to be present, peaceful and calm. It helps us to pay attention to what we’re thinking and feeling.

Art Therapy can help children deal with anxiety, depression and stress.

We can find a balance between emotions and thoughts with the help of art. It’s the action of creating art that makes it so. It is a powerful combination.

The educational program focuses on emotions and thoughts, and how to better understand both during the art making process.

When parents watch this educational video at home with their children, they have the chance to join this program in a convenient location and work together on the exercises. Parents can learn to better understand their children through my educational videos. Children will learn more about themselves in a relaxing and enjoyable way.

Through stories, my video program offers connections. There are a wide variety of creative exercises and directives that allow self-discovery from a variety of different angles.

Children learn how to solve problems in a new way by understanding their thoughts and emotions. They have the ability to create, process, accept, regulate and express their emotions.

The videos relate to how we function in this world. Key questions are asked during each video class. Children and their parents are helped by these questions.

Other video outcomes include:

Helping children organize their thoughts is constructive.

Allowing kids to be unique.

Children are taught how to organize their thoughts.

Practice logical thoughts.

Understand meanings through organized thinking.

It is possible to express thoughts and emotions in different ways. When we can do this, we should first express our emotions and thoughts. One way is to organize our thoughts and then express them.

The description of the sessions.

A Tree

Children will have the chance to creatively express themselves in a new way during the session. Children can observe their thoughts and emotions without giving them too much attention. Children can observe how they feel in a supportive environment.

People will be asked to draw themselves as if they were a tree. Our minds are like leaves on a tree. Our thoughts and emotions keep the body stable.

The goal of A Tree is to teach children the importance of their thoughts, emotions and body. Participants will begin to understand their strengths.

Emotions are discovered through color.

It is not always possible to distinguish between positive and negative emotions. Children can learn to express their emotions in a new way with this directive. Children discover that different colors evoke different emotions.

Children learn through the artmaking process that it is possible to express emotions through colors. The process of painting allows them to process their feelings in a safe and supportive way.

During the course of learning one’s own emotions and thoughts through colors, participants will have the chance to discover their own personal stressors and learn how to connect them to their emotions. The goal is to be able to process emotions safely.

What makes you?

Children have the chance to draw themselves and discover more about themselves during this session.

The discussion focuses on how everyone has certain uncertainties as they grow up. It could be anything from uncertainties about our goals and career choices to moral values and group loyalties. There are always moments where we question ourselves.

The goal is for participants to discover their own unique characteristics. The result is a boost in self-awareness. Through this group process, they have the chance to learn that they are similar to their peers.

The person is riding the wave.

Children will be asked to visualize a wave at the beach during the session. The way we experience challenges can be reflected by that same wave. Can we remain balanced and centered while surfing on waves?

As participants listen to gentle music that sounds like the ocean waves, they will be asked to visualize the various attributes of a wave including its size, speed, color and strength. Children will be asked to think about how they feel.

The lesson in this exercise is that it is possible to learn to surf even if you don’t like the waves. As children become more aware of their emotions, they can notice how they change.

There are two sides of the bridge.

Everyone builds plans for the future even though they live in their present moment. The present and the future are addressed in this session. Children can create their own version of the bridge through mindful painting. The space between current and future plans is represented by this bridge.

How can we successfully achieve future plans and how can we properly prepare for the future are some of the questions addressed during The Bridge.

Children will begin to express how they see their future as a result of the bridge. Insights into how they perceive their future plans will be gained.
