How did I do it?

I was expelled from school when I was eight years old and my parents had to go around the country to get other schools to let me study in their school. I was not normal.

I was dumped into a school called Ping Yi because I did so poorly in my primary school exams. I was a very weak student and was always late in class. I failed in four subjects of the eight I was taking and was placed at the bottom of my cohort.

I was poor in studies and physically weak. I was labeled a problem student because of my poor social skills.

I joined the boy scouts in an effort to learn valuable skills and widen my social circle but after only six months, I was thrown out of the club because I couldn’t pass the most basic test needed to qualify as a scout. I did not bother to try again.

My cousins attended the best schools in the country and were gifted. I thought I was born lazy, slow, unmotivated, or even stupid because of that.

I became addicted to the TV and video games when I was a troubled teenager and I allowed myself to sink into a catatonic state just to escape the pain.

In a heap of despair and almost as a last resort, my parents decided to send me to a training camp for teenagers. I didn’t know that that was the turning point of my life.

I discovered a mind technology called Neuro-Linguistic Programming.
